Joining Text into 1 Field

i have two columns with text in each. Say HP in column A, and 51645A in Column B. I would like column C to read HP - 51645A. How do I join these two fields to do this, many thanks. Botswana

Just use &

=A1 & "-" & B1

Edit:any discount on cartridges???
