why not just do it with a forumula

=RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-SEARCH(">",A1))

This doesn't work. The OP wants after ">" this.

1. =REPLACE(A1,1,FIND(">",A1),"")
2. =MID(A1,FIND(">",A1)+1,255)
