I have been using range names for each row in my worksheet and now I am trying to use sumproduct but I can't get it to work using the range names as it takes the entire range, not just the current column. I have rangenamed by columns as well so I tried using those to define it but with no success...any help would be great, maybe a UDF could do it??

I'm afraid I'm having trouble visualising both what you have done and what you are trying to achieve.....
Could you post an example?

Sumproduct should not have any trouble with range names, as such. I gather from your question that the range name includes more cells then you want used. That's not the fault of sumproduct or using a defined name. Can you attach a workbook showing what you are trying to do?
