Hello all,
Using the solver function in a macro that I recorded returns "sub or function not Defiend". Does anybody know why?

Re: Solver function woes
Ahem sorry,
Found that I had not checked the solver reference...:censored:
Re: Solver function woes
I am glad you solved your problem.
Please advise what solver tutorial provided the solution.
I have the same problem.

Re: Solver function woes
I believe what he found is that you need to include a reference to Solver. To do this, when in the VBe with your macro code, go to the tools menu and select References. Then locate Solver in the list and check it. Note that you may have to first go to the workbook and call Solver from the Tools menu there and cancel out in order to get Solver to show up on the VBE References list.
