I am trying to setup a filter that will work with a database. I am trying to input a range of numbers, not one exact number, and filter through the database to get a specific value. I will have more then one imput, so all need to have the capablitity of being ranges. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced. I hope the attachment will help.

Hi ratpick112,
Have a look at the file I posted back. I modified your criteria range to do what you wanted.
A Pivot Table may be what you are really looking for, but I haven't used them much yet, so maybe someone else can post up that solution.
The DGET statement only returns a single value, not all the records within a range.
If no record matches the criteria, DGET returns the #VALUE! error value.
If more than one record matches the criteria, DGET returns the #NUM! error value. Is that really what you are trying to do?
Hope this helps

Thanks. That is what I was looking for. I have one more question. If the database is on a different sheet, how would I use that format to look up the database? Do I only have to name the database on the different sheet like I did for the DGET function?
