Invalid Procedure Call or Argument Referencing Files

I am using a procedure to loop through all files in a folder and am encountering an

Invalid procedure call or argument

error on the ChDrive line:

mypath = "\\Eo1\r_i\Surveys\NALC\Returns\"
ChDrive mypath

Is it something to do with the mypath syntax? Recently our drives have been reorganised. I used to just use "G:\Surveys..." which always worked. Does anyone have any thoughts? I hope I've explained properly - you can probably tell I don't know much about this sort of thing.

in your path there is a blank so it looks like your path starts with no name

im no expert but where you have "\\ is probably causing the problem if the rest of your folder names are correct.

Thanks but even if it looks like there is, there isn't a blank. If I remove the \\ at the front I get a "Device Unavailable" error. Out of the frying pan...

Stephen this is how i have mypath set in one of my workbooks

MyPath = "E:\Excel Workings\Test Bed\First Test"

im afraid thats the limit of my experience with setting paths.

Record a macro opening one of the files in the needed directory.
