i need a macro that will list all the data that shows up in column a in column c once no matter how many times it shows up in a
for example if a1 a2 a3 are 1 2 2 respectivley c1 c2 c3 would be 1 2 blank.

Just use the [advf]*[/advf]. Set to unique values only and copy to column c.

Note Badger's post above (you may not have seen it seen you posted back about the exact same time). Advanced Filter is definitely the way to go on this.
