AutoFilter: Display More Items in Drop-Down

    I've got a spreadsheet with over 35,000 lines (records) in it (Yes, I know, I'd be better off using Access!).


    AutoFilter only shows the first 1000 individual items in the Drop-Down; is there any way to increase this limit?


    P.S. If you guys can't do it, then it can't be done!! :wink1:

    If you know the item you want in the filter, you can always type it in the Custom selection. Also, you might want to consider having a grouping field that you can first select, thereby limiting the items to display for the final selection.

    I think you're right, I'll do the Grouping thing and cut my options down to manageable proportions.
