[Solved] Importing: annoying little squares

    Hi,
    I imported a load of data into a spreadsheet and it came back with a load of little squares as shown in the sample attachment. does anyone known how to get rid of these quickly?

    Hi adunkey10 and welcome,


    You could use the following formula in column B, which replaces the little square with a space.


    =SUBSTITUTE(A1,CHAR(13)," ")


    The little square by the way is a CarriageReturn.


    You can then copy and paste-special, as values, the new data to replace the original.
