Select A Range With VBA

I'm trying to select a range (it will vary everytime) using this:

Code

Range("A15").Select
    Range(Selection, Selection.End(xlDown)).Select

That will salect the entire range, but I need every but the last row of the range. How can I do it?

You might want to explain a little better, why is the code you have not working?

More importantly, you generally do not need to select a range.

Ok, what I need is be able to select the values in one column. The number of values changes each time. Sometimes I’ll have 30 rows others 600 rows. So by using

Range("A15").Select
             Range(Selection, Selection.End(xlDown)).Select

I will select all the values that I have in my column A, and that is ok, but I need every single number but the one in the last row. So I need to create a macro that select everything but the last row.
