Whole Sheet Has Become Macro

    Hi, I am having a few issues with a spredsheet. It has 3 macros on it, speall check, insert rows and a merge cells, the sheet is protected and also has a split on it between the header and the main sheet.


    Once the sheet is locked the whole header seems to become a giant macro that runs the spell chcek, if the split is removed then the whole sheet acts the same.


    I have no idea why this is happening and have checked as many things as I can think of...but would appreaciate any help someone could give.

    Is it the case that you have a button for the Spell check macro, but that the button is torn out of proportions due to the split?


    This is a guess... You could attach a small sample of your sheet showing the problem.

    The workbook is 1.5mb so I can't attach it, the code is VB, it was working fine until today....


    I have tried just saving it as 1 worksheet instead of the three but it's still way too big.

    Without seeing the workbook then I can't guess what might be happening from your description. Maybe try posting the code.

    TBH I don't think its the code as that hasn't change for ages, I did insert a new macro button the other day and perhaps that has caused it. looking around I have seen that some people have had issue with buttons as drawing objects so I guess it might be that.


    Not sure how else I can get to show you the sheet.
