The attached spreadsheet has a list of students. I need to find the easiest way to create a list based on certain school codes (last column). For example only look at the data for students from school codes 52661, 51050, 52881, 53765 and 51590. Based on that set of data, calculate the GPAs, test scores, etc. What would be the easiest way? I have tons of worksheets to do this with. I tried pivot table method but is there a quicker way?

Hi Ej,
I have had a look at your data and I would have to say that a pivot table is probably the quickest method of summing and analyzing your data.
If you have massive amounts of data you could use Access as an alternative.

Try the attached. The Extracts sheet would normally be hidden, but I left it visible so you can see what's happening. Basically, the macros are using Excel's advanced filter. The userform gets the criteria. Zeros are removed from the extracted data so that the statistics are not distorted by them. With so many schools, it may take awhile to navigate through the list box, so you may wish to replace it and type the criteria numbers yourself.

Hmm, I'm having a problem loading the workbook. I keep getting a "packet" error, although the workbook is less than a meg in size. I've now deleted most of the data on the Apps sheet, so it should be replaced before trying the macros.
