Countif With Multiple Data

  • Hi all,
Sorry if the thread title seems ambiguous.
What I'm trying to do is this:
I have a column of data with values equal to a whole stack of country names (US, Australia, England etc).
What I need to do is create a chart (preferably pie, but it's not that important) that shows the percentage that each country represents.
What I'm hoping to NOT have to do is create a COUNTIF formula for every data value <as in =countif(b2:b70,"Austalia") > and so on.
Surely, there must be a way to tell Excel to look at the values in that range of cells, and just chart each value? Isn't there?
    Cheers,
    Bruce.

    Cheers,
    Bruce.

    Audio2U,

Try a Pivot Chart and change the chart type to Pie and format the data labels to percentage.
