Print To Pdf - Auto Save As

Hi Everyone,

I have code to print an invoice to PDF, here is the printing part.

Code

Sub Macro3()
    Application.ActivePrinter = "Adobe PDF on Ne05:"
    ActiveWindow.Worksheets("Sheet1").PrintOut From:=1, To:=1, Copies:=1, ActivePrinter:="Adobe PDF on Ne05:", Collate:=True
End Sub

Problem:

When the code runs a box appears asking the user to save the PDF as a filename and the user never saves the correct invoice filename. Is there a way to suprees the box and automatically save as a predetermined name say "Invoice 0012 27-01-01"

Hmm, I can't see why that code would ask anyone to save as it's only printing.

I think the box is part of Adobe Acrobat. Will Riley posted code to save with Acrobat Writer

Thanks Roy I shall have a look for it.

Dave - First the "Now Printing" box pops up. Then a box appears with the title Save PDF files as.

Does the box caption say:

"print to file"

with a message saying:

"output filne name:"

if yes, then the box is related to P2F.

Hi Todd I have added a picture of the box for your info.

I have tried your method but cant get it to work yet will keep trying with some variations.

Have also found some code of will rileys which I am sorting through and will post when I get it right.
