Refresh Database Query Without Password Prompt

    hey folks,


    i have imported external data (odbc) to my excel sheet but everytime i open the worksheet and click refresh data, it prompts me for a login id and password. does anyone know of a macro that will refresh the data and connect to the database when i open the worksheet so i wont have to keep inputting the login and password everytime?

    I think you can solve this by right click on the result, properties and check the save-password checkbox by query definition. You can also check the refresh on file open.
