Csv Removing 0's

    Everytime i save my excel file as a CSV it removes the 0's. In column w i have data and i need the format to be 000. I format it under custom to that setting but when i save as csv it removes the first 0. With my dates it also changes my mm/dd/yyyy to m/dd/yyyy

    If it didn't, it would not be a CSV file.


    I recommend that you leave it as is. You can always set a format when you import it.


    You can force it by converting the fields to text strings. I don't recommend this method.


    The date is a number too. You may be able to set a preferred format by changing your Window's Regional Settings for long date.
