hello i need some help, i tried using the lookup but it gave a different result. i want to search a value from sheet1 A to sheet2 A and copy the remarks from sheet2 B and paste it to sheet 1 B and if not found leave it blank.

Firstly, don't store numbers as text! Convert to number like;
Copy any empty cell
Select the text numbers
Edit>Paste Special - Values - Add - OK
Then Insert a Column at Column A sheet1 and in A1 enter
=VLOOKUP(B1,Sheet2!$A$1:$B$22,2,FALSE)
Copy down.
Now hide column and reference it when needed like
=IF(ISNA(A1),0,A1)
You can hide zeros via Tools>Options - View - Zero Values

Shouldn't that the vlookup reference sheet2?

Keeping formulas is good, But if you convert into macro it will be faster for results.

That is not true. In fact, Macros are nearly always slower than their Formula counterparts.
