Is there a way of having VBA code automatically time stamped...so when reviewing hard copy of code I can see:-
What file name (version) the code was attached to.
Date and time code was printed.

Hi r_hind,
If you use the macro recorded to create the skeleton of your code it will automatically add the username and date.
You can even add additional text via the description text box.
Simply start the macro recorder, enter details and stop recording. Now you can edit the code add arguments or turn it into a function.
Another approach maybe to write some vba code for the VBE. Perhaps a routine that like the above method creates an empty macro with predefined comments.
On a personal note I think having individual routines stamped is ok as long as you remember to update the information.
Otherwise the date stamp soon becomes redundent and worse still mis-leading.
Cheers
Andy
