Collect InputBox Date In European Format

I am trying to get the user to enter a relevant date but code returns date in US format.

That is mm dd yyyy instead of dd mm yyyy.

Please help. This is driving me nuts.

 MsgBox Format(dt, "dd mmm yyyy")

That returns the Uk date in the message box but still US date
when the following line runs

any way to alter that.

dt = Format(dt, "dd/mmm/yyyy")

Use the DateSerial Function.
