I want my 'Hourly Wage' (R3) based on total 'Profit/Loss' (P3) divided by 'Total Time' (Q3). I want it to update automatically when I enter new data in to column I and L.
P3 has formula =INDEX(L4:L101,COUNT(L4:L101))-L4 formatted as Currency.
Q3 has formula =SUM(I5:I54) formatted as Time.
Column I is formatted as Time. Column L is formatted as Currency.

Time is stored as a real number with the number of days. One hour is stored as 0.04166..., or 1/24. To convert from time to a number of hours, just multiply by 24.
To get an hourly rate, you will use
=P3/(Q3*24)

What is cross posting? Did you mean 'do not' cross post? I have this topic on that other website but with no luck.
I simply don't understand what formula to put where.
In R3:
I tried =P3/(Q3*24) and got $0.14
I tried =P3/(Q3-Int(Q3))*24 and got $5,593.53
I tried =P3/Q3/24 and got $0.14

and got $1022.43

No, I mean if you post in another forum, add a link to the thread on that forum here and vice versa. If the problem is solved somewhere else, people here should know so that they aren't wasting their time on it.
As for your problem, please post a workbook if at all possible. If none of the things you have tried have worked, then the problem will most easily be solved by seeing the workbook that is causing the issue.

Ok, I'll do that in future.
I just saved a new streamlined workbook ready to post when I decided to try your formula in it. It worked. I went back to the original workbook and tried again in it and it also worked.
Don't know what was going on but it seems to be all sorted.
