=TABLE() puzzle

  • Someone has sent me a spreadsheet that includes the formula =TABLE(, E35) entered as an array formula. When values are entered on the sheet some code seems to run and the statusbar sya Table:1, Table:2 etc. The is no VBA or addins with the workbook. Can someone goive me a clue what =TABLE() might be doing

    Are you sure ?

    Press the function button on the toolbar (Fx) does it list the TABLE function under the User Defined category... if not, where does it list it ?

  • table() is a special function used for sensitivity analysis, is not listed among other function in insert-->function

    it is especially usefull in financial modelling

  • To aplify what Piotr Glenszczyk said, the table is showing the results of changing the value at E35 on the "example" formula(s) at the top of the table. The values in the left column of the table are substituted one at a time for the value in E35.
