Count & Compare Used Rows On 2 Sheets

    I want to count the number of data rows in Sheet 1, Count the number of data rows in Sheet 2 and display a message if they are not equal.


    I have tried various IF(COUNTA statements but cannot get the correct syntax.

    What type of data is in the columns you're looking at? If it truly is all text...


    =IF(COUNTA(A3:A5)<>COUNTA(Sheet2!B3:B5),"Error","Match")
