time formula

I have a task that takes minutes/seconds each day. What formula would I enter to total several days and expand the answer to how many hours/minutes/seconds it took?

Hi and welcome to the board

Try to use following formula:

=B2-A2+IF(A2>B2,1,0)

where A2 contain the starttime and B2 the endtime.

don't forget to format the cell as [hh]:mm where brackets indicate the format for elapsed time
