Asterisk Input Box Password

  • The character code for an asterix is;

    Chr(42)

    However, I do not beleive you can set this value for an inputbox, I might be wrong though as I have never tried it.

    You can set the Password character for a textbox and place that on a form.

  • what I have set up is a macro that will unhide the normal toolbars and unprotects the worksheet. So I have a button on the custom toolbar that will activate first an input box, if they put the correct pass then it activates the macro. it works fine, but you can see what they type in for the password. maybe there is a better way to go about it? If not I guess I'll have to keep searching for asterisk in the input box... Thanks!~
