I am creating a program in which 75 people need access to, I am looking to create a opening page were the person has to enter a user name and password to gain access to the other worksheets in the program. I have created a list of all the users and their passwords which I would like this page to reference,but I need help creating that opening page.

First of all, be aware that Excel IS NOT a secure platform. Users have the option of choosing to enable macros, or not. If they choose not to enable them, then all VBA code is defeated.
Second, Excel is not very good about sharing workbooks, so you will have issues with users who simultaneously access the workbook.
That being said, the approach for the opening page would be along these lines:
- Use the Workbook_Open event to show the opening page
- In the opening page sheet, use a drop down list to allow users to select their name (or use a cell for name entry)
- Use a cell for password entry
- Dimension string variables for the name and password and use these variables in the following steps
- Verify the selected/entered user name is contained in the master list
- If (4) is verified, match password against user name and if it matches then . . . access user sheet
