Filter Sheets using Criteria from Drop Down Box

In the attached file, there are 13 buttons just above the "description" column...I would appreciate some help to get those 13 buttons into a drop down list and function just as they do now...The buttons Filter the "bar code" column and are functioning at this time...I just cant figure out how to put them into a drop down box...and clean up the appearance of this sheet...Original document spans over 20 pages and is growing...All of my attempts have failed...

Any and all help is greatly appreciated...

Hi Herbds7, I appreciate your time, but it seems that it is filtering on keywords instead of the bar code column...for instance if I click GRI on the list it pulls a B/C of HTL if I select HTL it is pulling the barcode LIT........Maybe I wasn't clear or the submitted form wasn't clear...I need to filter by the first 3 letters of the bar codes...so it will filter all of the items that begin with "air" or "gri" ...so when orders are placed Project Managers can go to the "group of items" designated by bar code..., that they need and place their quantities...I wish I could upload the entire form so you guys that help, could see...because this "Filtering by drop down box" is just a small piece of this puzzle...Code has already been written to transfer quantities ordered to another page...so I really cant change how the submitted form is working...
