Hi

Basically, it's not possible to run macros on a workbook on the internet, is it, Dennis?
I believe it then requires VB Script instead? Please correct me if I'm wrong, and I believe that the asker is asking how to run a macro on an Excel workbook published to the internet, and the answer would be -- you can't. You have to "convert" your macro to VB Script for the web page or something?

Dreamboat,
Well, we need to at least use HTML to get things up & running on a page
However, using Web Office Components (WOC) does not per se involve JavaScript.
The best part: we can even build custom spreadsheet functions add-ins
Kind regards,

Try turning BB code off
There appears to be an extra <br
inserted from the BBCode -

I am running macros in Excel workbooks published on the company intranet - accessible to company offices at remote locations.
I often have to modify the macros & their logic so that they will run on the net.
Usually perfectly good local macros fail on the net if I'm using userforms or controls (commandbuttons etc...). The net version seems to have difficulty keeping focus on the control's macros if I reference workbook cells or sheets.
