    Re: Adding Time to dates

Hello. Please forgive the delay in responding, but I have been really busy and this is the first time I have had chance to come back on. I don't quite understand what you are telling me to do. What would my formula look like? Would I do it like this - =L4+M4+N4), or =(L4,M4,N4) or something else. I could not get it to work. I would really appreciate your help

    Re: Adding Time to dates

Thank you for your reply. I am really grateful. I have been trying to sort this out for a couple of weeks, and have tried all I can.

I have uploaded the file to RoyUK, so not sure if I should have uploaded it to you too (don't want to get into trouble). Please inform me if I need to

    Once again, thank you
    Lynne

I am trying to add a time to a date, to show me the day and the time as the answer, and this works well when it does not go over 24 hours into the next day (not sure I am actually expaining this very well)

eg on 5 November the end time is 15.17

I add this to 1 day, 6 hours and 58 minutes, giving me Tuesday at 22.15

I then add to this 1 day, 6 hours and 58 minutes, but it shows me Wednesday 05.13 instead of Thursday 05.13

The amount of time may change so I cannot add it by typing it in

I tried to say, if the time goes past midnight, add an extra day, but I cannot get this to work

I would really appreicate your help

Re: Find todays date and highlight the row

    Thank you so much

That is great. I was nearly there, but in a more complicated way

Now can you tell me how to find today's date

I just want to go to todays date (wherever I am in the spreadsheet)?

    Thank you

Hello could you help me please

I have a spreadsheet which contains all of this years dates in column A

I want to be able to find todays date (on any given day) and then highlight the row

I recorded a macro which found the date using conditional formatting, but of course when I highlight the row the macro always finds that row

How can I get it to highlight the row irrespective of the day (todays date) I am search for

    I hope this makes sense

eg, if it is the 27 March today, I want it to find today etc

    Thank you so much

    Lynne

When running a macro, and deleting a worksheet as part of the macro, how can I prevent the confirmation box from coming up.

Even though I deleted it as part of the macro, it still appears. I want it not to appear

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks
    Lynne
