I want to do it from IE. IE should generate Excelsheet without sending a requet to the server(IIS)

My client are using IE5. My html page is heavy on and takes time to generate. So I think it is better to generate on the client without sending request again to the server.

I have on solution which save html to .html file using FileSystem object and convert it to Excel. This not a good solution because I have to save the files to client machine(some browsers may refuse to save the file because of their security settings)

I want to do it on web browser using Javascript or VBScript

(1). I want to add excelsheet object using <object&gt; HTML tag.
(2). Excel verion should be EXCEL 97
(3). Acctually what I want is dynamically creating a excellsheet on client-side using a html table in my web page(I have only Excel 97)

Please help me .
