EDR,
I get the same result as you using the FV formula, with the 5th argument being 1, payment at the start of the period, and the 3rd argument being -500, as per the help file, copied below.
For all the arguments, cash you pay out, such as deposits to savings, is represented by negative numbers; cash you receive, such as dividend checks, is represented by positive numbers.
Just a note. You will need the Analysis ToolPak Add-in installed for EDATE or EOMONTH to work.

Texas,
The comes up because it is smiley code. Disable smilies on your post, and it won't appear.
Elf,
By any chance are you importing your TP list from another system? If so, when you are using the text import wizard, if you highlist the column with your item codes, and ensure the General radio button is clicked, not the text button, that might help.

Have a look at indirect.
=IF(INDIRECT(B1)>1,1,0)
If you put "C3" in cell B1, it will check the value in cell C3. Is that what you're after?

This keeps you up at night, Doug? That's really, really sad. Perhaps you should have a :drink: to help you :sleep1:

Hey Dave, don't forget we have a three day week-end coming up in June, Queen's Birthday, something they don't even celebrate in the UK.
Except W.A., of course, where you are. :blah:
What the hell is foundation day?

Try Formatted Text (Space Delimited) .prn
How old are we talking. Excel 4? If so, the macro will be on a separate sheet within the workbook.

Wouldn't a pivot table provide your desired result, with only one occurrence of the the item number, and the total quantity for that item number?
