a friend of mine had a problem for he wanted to substitute all the "-" with a uncommon character in a word file (on a macintosh). Since the find-substitute function did not work, I suggested him to record a macro and then to edit on his needs. He did so, but from then on he's no longer able to enter the - in his files. He says that's because he first apply the macro to the DocNormal (no idea what it is!).
Any idea b4 i suggest the informatic method (uninstall and reinstall)???
