Re: Shapes: BuildFreeform - make part invisible

As it turns out, I don't need to do this now, although I would still like to know.
I'm not sure of the best way to post an example, but I'll try putting up a picture, as that may explain the situation a little better.

I've attached a picture to this post. In the picture, you'll see a pole on the right and a pole on the left (straight brown lines). The black curve is the cable between them, but I want it to be invisible beyond the top of the left pole. However, if I just make its third point at the top of the left pole, then the curvature between the two poles is not quite right.

    Thanks again.

    Hi everyone,

I'm writing a macro that draws a schematic based on data fields in a sheet. Part of the schematic is a wire hanging between two poles (this is for an electrical utility).
I'm using the BuildFreeform shape with three points to do this, and in some case, one of the points has to be beyond and above one of the poles to get a physically accurate picture. Is there any way to make the portion beyond the pole invisible? As it is, you can see it, so it looks like there is some wire hanging in the air beyond one of the poles.
I don't know if this is a clear description, so please ask if you need more info.

    Thanks.
