Hi all
I have a CSV file d/l from a wordpress form which has hyperlinks to photos. Is there a way to make thumbnails from the links? Or a more user-friendly way to present the hyperlinks so users don't have to copy/paste links individually into a browser to see them?
Thanks in advance.
It works great, you're a life saver Logit.
Thanks Logit, I'll give it a go.
Hi all,
I have to write a report with 100+ photos taken as I walk around a demolition site. I'd usually insert them manually as I write up my notes but it will take too long for this one. Is there a way to insert photos as they are taken so photo 1 goes into cell A1, photo 2 goes into A2...? I can use a tablet or mobile phone to take the pics and have the sheet on the device or upload to the cloud, any device is ok.
Re: Graphing price elasticty of demand & supply on same axes
Thanks Andy.
Sorry I freaked out Wigi. I got frustrated.

welcome to Ozgrid!
Thank you, but I'm afraid to tell you that we are not solving homework of students. In the end, what do you learn with it? The learning process in itself has a merit too, otherwise the teacher could have said: go to http://www.ozgrid.com/forum and ask there to some kind people to give the answer to this question.
Go out, consult the help pages on line charts and plot these lines yourself. After all, that is not too difficult a task. First, you have to calculate the price elasticities of demand and supply. I'm sure the teacher will have explained the correct formula for it. This isn't cumbersome to do, either. (I know because I teach Economics myself.)
Good luck with it.

Wigi.
I guess I must have been mistaken about some members of this forum.
I asked my question in as respectful manner as I could after having spent many hours searching Excel help, consulting texts and the University resources available to me, I even called a Masters qualified Accountant who could not figure it out.
The fact that you teach Economics does not give you the right to make such degrading, disrespecful and condescending remarks. Why not come down off your high horse and live up to your "Experience" boast.
Hi.
For an economics assignment I would like to graph price elasticity with price on the 'y' axis and units on 'x'. I have not found a way to do this in Excel, can someone assist?
Many thanks.
Jim
PS This is without doubt the most helpful and useful forum on the net
