Hello Roy,
I apologize about mentioned above.
Can't i be helped about with generic examples?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Roy,
I apologize about mentioned above.
Can't i be helped about with generic examples?
Thanks in advance.
Good morning,
hello to all those who will help me solve what I describe below about scraping HTML and CSS data to load on my Excel worksheets, which I already do by XHR.
I want to download the data of each row for each table from https://www.betexplorer.com/so…/ac-milan-parma/MDHtcf5J/
I need to inspect "Standings" about the box "Overall" to download the data what I need, as shown in the image I have attached above.
I need also to inspect "Standings" about the boxes "Home" and "Away", always to download the data what I need.
Therefore I need to download the data by inspecting the box "Form" about the "last 5 played games" shown in the boxes "Overall", "Home" and "Away".
The problem I encountered is that only by selecting each box I can see the tables with the data I need.
If I don't select them nothing appears in the HTML code of the inspected page so as to find among CSS what i need to download.
How can we solve what i'm searching for?
Many thanks in advance to everyone who will come to my aid.
Frankie.
Re: Search 1st and Last occurence about certain values through duplicate rows
Hello shknbk2,
thank you very much for your support and your simple, brilliant idea.
What I was looking for is solved!
Thanks again,
I am grateful to you.
See you,
frank.
Re: Search 1st and Last occurence about certain values through duplicate rows
Hi dear shknbk2,
Thanks for your interest.
About the result 2,37 2,62 2,87...
they are shown only as example as you read ... they aren't ones values to choose...
all values are to be chosen...
On 10th row 2,37 3,10 2,62 are lasts occurrences (goias game) that must be obviously chosen and recorded along range AZ:BB...
The image posted is only a clarification of what i'm searching for.
All values are to be chosen and saved in ranges i explained according to 1X2 if firsts or lasts occurrences as i wrote.
If you have any solution share it so we work about togheter.
Thanks for your time.
Frank.
Hello dear Friends,
For Each Row having Same Values in Columns A B C D …
For Columns J M P …
I'm searching through various criteria...
the first and last occurrence about values in columns JMP...
for areas of duplicate values in column ABCD... AS SHOWN:
[Blocked Image: http://i60.tinypic.com/5d5tvq.jpg]
On the firsts rows... (those highlighted rows in bleu - starting odds line):
1) Search for the first occurrence in each column J M P...
2) Get the value ...
3) Save it (according to 1X2 Columns J M P positions) in RANGE AW:AY...
On the lasts rows... ( under highlighted starting odds rows - the closing odds line
1) Search for the last occurrence in each column J M P...
2) Get the value ...
3) Save it (according to 1X2 Columns J M P positions) in RANGE AZ:BB...
For example:
-) the game coritiba cruzeiro from 5th until 2nd row...
It starts on 1 (J5) with value 2,87 (AW2:AW5)
It finishes on 1 (J2) with value 2,87 (AZ2:AZ5)
'__________________________________________________________
-) the game goias fluminense from 22nd until 10th row...
It starts on 1 (J22) with value 2,37 (AW10:AW22)
It finishes on 1 (J10) with value 2,37 (AZ10:AZ22)
It finishes on X (P10) with value 2,62 (BB10:BB22)
'__________________________________________________________
-) the game estudiantes belgrano on 39th row
It starts with 2,37 on 1 (J39) so we record it in (AW39:AW39) and finishes also with 2,37 on 1 so we record it in (AZ39:AZ39)
It starts with 2,87 on X (M39) so we record it in (AX39:AX39) and finishes also with 2,87 on X so we record it in (BA39:BA39)
'__________________________________________________________
I hope that I have made it clear... i can't do better!
Every suggestion and every form of help is appreciated;
preferably in the form of Excel formula (also vba),
such as to understand the process of what I research.
Many thanks in advance to everyone who will come to my aid.

Re: Search certain values on duplicate rows
Coming to practice ... I wish to search for each match (for identical values in column ABCD) the value of the first occurrence and the last occurrence for each value 1X2 (may happen to find even a single line, here are the values of the occurrences identical, being first and last in a same row)...
Any suggest?
Re: Search certain values on duplicate rows
Can be used the "index" formula about?
Any ideas?
Re: Search certain values on duplicate rows
I ask to be sought only values 2.37 2.62 2.87 ...
1) when they appear on the first lines...
( The highlighted rows in bleu as shown in the image below)
these sought values (having the same values in column abcd) have to be recorded along all lines in RANGE AW:AY...
2) when they appear as lasts... under highlighted starting odds rows of the other recorded shown rows ...
( under highlighted starting odds rows as shown in the image below )
these sought values (having also the same values in column abcd) have to be recorded along all lines in RANGE AZ:BB...

Re: Search certain values on duplicate rows
-)the game coritiba cruzeiro from 6th until 3rd row...
it starts on 1 with value 2,87 (aw3:aw6)
It finishes on 1 with value 2,87 (az3:az6)

It finishes on 1 with value 2,37 (az7:az19)

Re: Search certain values on duplicate rows
Dear Jindon Hello,
I ask only to be sought values 2.37 2.62 2.87 ...
1) when they appear on the first lines...
( The highlighted rows in bleu or green or gray as shown in the image that i posted )
these sought values (having the same values in column abcd) have to be recorded along all lines in RANGE AW:AY...
2) when they appear as lasts... under highlighted starting odds rows of the other recorded shown rows ...
( under highlighted starting odds rows as shown in the image that i posted )
these sought values (having also the same values in column abcd) have to be recorded along all lines in RANGE AZ:BB...
I hope that I have made it clear...
Now tha i think... as you suggested...
could we work alongside the columns where we'll record the search for values 2,37 2,62 2,87 ...
six more columns next?
where we'll record other values from 2,37 2,63 2,87 ?
providing that these are only "those initials" and "finals ones"...
Also on an other project/worksheet sample...
thank you very much in advance dear... for your time and your patience...
frank.
Re: Search certain values on duplicate rows
Waiting patiently,
any ideas about?
Thank's to all who will come to my aid.
Hi Friends,
As shown for example in RANGE AW:AY... for the "Starting Odds"
As shown for example in RANGE AZ:BB... for the "Closing Odds"
as in the following image…
[Blocked Image: http://i58.tinypic.com/2jd0xer.jpg]
I'm searching…
For Each Row having Same Values in Columns A B C D …
For Columns J M P …
If there are 2,37 2,62 2,87 values… on the (first) starting odds line (those highlighted rows in bleu or green or grey)
show them, according to 1X2 (Columns J M P) positions, in RANGE AW:AY...
If there are 2,37 2,62 2,87 values… on the closing odds line (the lasts... under highlighted starting odds rows)
show them, according to 1X2 (Columns J M P) positions, in RANGE AZ:BB...
I attach a sample file for greater understanding.
Some Rows are singles... As shown in the attached file and through the image I posted... on the 2nd row.
Every suggestion and every form of help is appreciated;
preferably in the form of Excel formula (also vba),
such as to understand the process of what I research.
Many thanks in advance to everyone who will come to my aid.
Frankie.
Re: Searching for Duplicates Solved
Thanks both Guys.
You were Great Great Great!!!
I don't know what to say!!!
I appreciate both of your cycles.
I preferred to jindon for speed.
I prefer regard to routine understanding the cycle of Derk.
Many thanks to both still!!!
I am speechless before your dedication and professionalism.
Thanks again.
I'm very very happy!!!!
See you soon.
Frank.
Re: Searching for Duplicates
Guys,
I have one last question:
I'm sorry, but if I had no more values in F I L...
but it had the values to be concatenated in J M P...
as to show them chained in Ap Aq Ar ... how should I do ??
Many thanks again.
Sorry.
Frank.
Solved: Searching for Duplicate group in separate block
Quote from jindon;749707OK you have duplicate group in separate block...
CodeDisplay MoreSub test() Dim a, b, i As Long, ii As Long, iii As Long, iv As Long Dim txt As String, w, e, temp, SL As Object, x As Long, y As Long Set SL = CreateObject("System.Collections.SortedList") With Cells(1).CurrentRegion a = .Value: ReDim b(1 To UBound(a, 1), 1 To 3) For i = 2 To UBound(a, 1) txt = Join(Array(a(i, 1), a(i, 2), a(i, 3), a(i, 4)), Chr(2)) If (temp <> txt) + (i = UBound(a, 1)) Then temp = txt: If i = UBound(a, 1) Then y = i If i > 2 Then For ii = 1 To 3 For Each e In Split(w(ii), Chr(2)) If e <> "" Then SL(e) = SL(e) + 1 Next For iii = 0 To SL.Count - 1 If SL.GetByIndex(iii) > 1 Then For iv = x To y b(iv - 1, ii) = Trim$(b(iv - 1, ii) & " " & SL.GetKey(iii)) Next End If Next SL.Clear Next End If ReDim w(1 To 3) For ii = 1 To 3 w(ii) = a(i, (ii + 1) * 3) Next x = i: y = i Else y = i For ii = 1 To 3 w(ii) = Join(Array(w(ii), a(i, (ii + 1) * 3)), Chr(2)) Next End If DoEvents Next .Columns("n:p").Offset(1).Value = b End With End Sub
What a great thing You've solved to me jindon.
Great Great!!!
Really thanks!!!
Many thanks to You and to Derk.
Nice to have met You.
See You next time.
Really thank You again.
Frank.
Re: Searching for Duplicates
Hello guys,
I think we are close to the solution of what I want.
jindon thank You for Your time, thank You again also Derk.
As can be seen from the file that I enclose,
jindon, Your macro works... just that there are still errors how I wish to be populated and chained values for each row.
Guys there is an alternative to UBond ???
Let me explain:
For the search for values, can we use a for loop next...
where the values are taken as follows ?
- ) from the 2nd row
- ) to the last non-empty row... in reference to column A ?
... For i = 2 to last_format_row ... ?
Thanks so much to You for dedicated time to what I want.
I await Your solutions.
I apologize to attach the sample as follows:

Re: Searching for Duplicates
Quote from Derk;749634I think I now understand what you would like. I am out of time today to make changes, but will do so tomorrow.
You are great.
Thanks for understanding what I want.
See You tomorrow Derk.
Many Thanks again.
Frank.
Re: Searching for Duplicates
Hello Derk,
with great pleasure I thank You for having solved in part what I want.
One last thing is missing:
I try to be concatenated only duplicate values... as highlighted in red in the N O P columns.
Those values that occur only once should not appear in the result of the concatenation.
[Blocked Image: http://i62.tinypic.com/156qna1.jpg]
As shown in columns Q R S, I think that the posted image will clarify even better the result I want.
I wait patiently for you.

You are a BIG!
Many Thanks again.
Frank.
Hi Friends ,
As shown for example in Col N O P... as in the following image…
[Blocked Image: http://i62.tinypic.com/24641oi.jpg]
I'm searching…
For Each Row having Same Values in Columns A B C D …
If there are some duplicates…
For Columns F I L …
-> Finding Duplicates
-> Ordering from the Smallest to the Biggest (They can't be also ordered)
-> Concatenating of them (also not ordered)
I attach a sample file for greater understanding.
Every suggestion and every form of help is appreciated;
preferably in the form of Excel formula (also vba),
such as to understand the process of what I research.
Many thanks in advance to everyone who will come to my aid.
