    Thanks for getting back to me. First of all how do i attach a sample workbook to the thread? Once you have got the workbook then it will make it easier for you to understand what i want it to do. The time frame would be hopefully the end of the week but this is not set in stone. I want it to work right more than rushing it.

    I am trying to build a spreadsheet for work. See link.

    Looking for “New Client” Button. When I click this it will ask what pattern I want to use (Pattern 1,2,3,4). When I choose the pattern it will give me 5 times, one for each day in the pattern and will populate these times with the clients name. I need the client to stay in these times in this pattern for 4 weeks. After 4 weeks I need the clients name to be moved to the next pattern ie Pattern 2, client given another 5 times in the new pattern and populate the new times with clients name. After another 4 weeks this happens again, moves onto next pattern ie pattern 3 etc.
    I need this to happen continuously moving client from pattern to pattern every 4 weeks after reaching pattern 4 it goes back to pattern 1.

    I have to say that the client may not start in pattern 1 but I need them to move through the patterns until they have been removed from the spreadsheet.

    I hope this makes sense.

    What i am trying to automate is
    1. When i put staff member name in a free slot for say Monday Pattern 2 it will populate a slot for the staff member for the rest of the week in this pattern, ie Tuesday (time) Wednesday (time) etc
    2. Then after 4 weeks the spreadsheets moves that staff member across to pattern 3 and gives me free slots (one per day) for Monday to Friday.
    3. then after 4 weeks moves the staff member across to Pattern 4 and gives me free slots (one per day) for Monday to Friday.
    4.Then after 4 weeks goes back to Pattern 1 and gives me free slots (one per day) for Monday to Friday. and so on.


    Is this Possible?


    Also if there are no spaces left it gives me a warning.


    Can I then be able to sift the dates by Team (D OR E)?


    I hope someone can help with this.
