If I search for "18 m 9 d" I should expect:
7/23/1900 Desk Green II
10/23/1900 Blue II Alarm
8/8/1901 White III Green
6/14/1905 Road II Cracks II Car II
Instead, I get: "7/23/1900 Desk Green II" four times
Each row will have a unique value to search for but there will be many rows of the same value. Thanks.

I apologize for being so pathetic. Got it this time but just one problem. When I type/search for "18 m 9 d" in A1 of Sheet2, it returns the expected four rows but each row only repeats the first date, event and header...not four unique sets of values. What could be the problem? Thanks again...you have no idea how much easier this will make things for me.

Thanks for your prompt reply and all your assumptions are correct. What I did was open sample.xlsm and paste your code into a class module. Then went to the link you provided and copied the code associated to "FindAll Code Listing" and pasted that into a module. When I tried to step through, it wouldn't work and Visual Basic wouldn't even recognize a macro. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks again.

The actual file is enormous and I just pasted a small section of it. Sheet1 has the data and Sheet2 could be utilized as a search page. Thanks
I'm a complete VBA novice outside of finding an appropriate macro to match my needs but I've looked through a bunch of threads and can't find the help I need. I hope someone here can help me out. What I have is a worksheet (Sheet1) with dates in column A and descriptions in column B. Along the first row there are header values. From C2:KD50000 in Sheet1, there are numerous values and blanks, pertaining to the date, description and header. Ideally, I'd like to be able to place a value in A1 of Sheet2 that I can search for in Sheet1 C2:KD50000 and return the corresponding date (same row as value from both sheets), description (same row as value from both sheets) and header (same column as found value) and return the dependent results down the A column (dates starting at A2 in Sheet2), B column (events starting in B2) and C column (headers starting in C2).

Thanks for the reply and I'm sorry I didn't explain better. Sheet1 B2-I2 is linked to a "Calculator". When I drop a word into A1, it populates subsequent cells (B2:I2). What I'd like to do is just run a macro that would copy A3 into A2, then copy the results from B2:I2 into B3:13 and follow the same process till I have calculated all the words, or have a blank, in column A. I've used this sheet for quite some time and recorded a macro and adjusted it to go through 30 cells but I need to redo the work.

I've been struggling for while now and hoping someone can help me. Have a cell (A1) that calculates unique values in B1 to I1. I am politely asking for a macro that will copy the value from A2, paste it in A1 then copy B1 to I1 and paste values (no formatting) to A2 through I2. Then loop this procedure for all values in column A until there is an empty cell. Thanks in advance.
