Re: USD $30.00 For excel user form to enter, or edit, data.
Excellent, I have updated the Sub and it adds the loads, however once the "add load" button is clicked and it adds the load it moves the sheet to the next week range?
It also locks the sheet, after each update, requiring the password to be entered to change it back to the current week.
Re: USD $30.00 For excel user form to enter, or edit, data.
Here is the Sub -
QuotePrivate Sub cmdSubmit_Click()
Dim i As Long, ctl As MSForms.Control
Re: USD $30.00 For excel user form to enter, or edit, data.
Here is the error -
Quote.ListRows(i).Range.Columns(CInt(ctl.Tag)) = ctl
And for the load number, anything that you can do is fine as long as it can be edited.
Re: USD $30.00 For excel user form to enter, or edit, data.
Also the load number will need to a user entered number. This is provided to us by the Carrier and is not known until we schedule the load. This looks awesome by the way! Very nice work
Re: USD $30.00 For excel user form to enter, or edit, data.
Excellent work KjBox, Thank you - When i try to add a new load i'm getting an "Run-time error '9' Subscript out of range" error. May be doing something wrong,
Re: USD $30 to copy data from one sheet to specific rows on another sheet when update
Yes Sir, that is what I needed. Thanks for the quick work. Pay pal sent #62A37299YF4203033
Re: USD $30 to copy data from one sheet to specific rows on another sheet when update
That did it John, That works as needed. One Small change if possible? on the DOCK DOORS column (E, and K) I need the carrier listed in INBOUND REPORT Column G to populate?
Re: USD $30 to copy data from one sheet to specific rows on another sheet when update
Wow that was fast, the only thing i see that it is not doing it not taking it off the DOCK REPORT when the container line item moves to the completed tab after updating
Re: USD $30 to copy data from one sheet to specific rows on another sheet when update
Hello,
1) Yes a user will type the door number in column C cell.
2) Yes
3) the data typed in on on the DOCK DOORS was put in manually by me for example only. to show how it will look
4) A command button to update would suffice. Like I have on the header row would be fine, next to the Create report one.
Thank you -
Hello, I need to get the following added to this worksheet. I sent the 10% to [email protected]
When a container is assigned a door number on the Inbound Report tab, I need the data copied to the corresponding door number on the Dock Doors tab. Highlighted when Empty, Not highlighted with other status. See the example. This would then change as we update the Inbound report. If there is nothing assigned to a specific Door #, it would remain blank until used on the Inbound report tab. No Manual updating will be done on the Dock Doors tab. Please let me know if more information is needed. The other functions in this worksheet will work the same as they do now.
Re: USD$30 - auto generated email with specific fields, outlook 2010

Re: USD$30 - auto generated email with specific fields, outlook 2010
Hello John, Here is the completed sheet, when i try to format Column H it stretches everything out and makes column H very wide? Any Idea why this wood be happening now?
Re: USD$30 - auto generated email with specific fields, outlook 2010
Just got it, I had the Path wrong, just a typo on my part Thank you very much for the Help, and the explaining of how to get to the task scheduler.
Re: USD$30 - auto generated email with specific fields, outlook 2010
Hello, OK I got the Notepad, and the task scheduler set up, if I go in and try to run it manually, it just opens the file but does not copy to the desktop? I'm sure I am missing something easy??
Re: USD$30 - auto generated email with specific fields, outlook 2010
Quote from John_w;786603Create this in Notepad, changing the folder paths and file names as required:
Codecopy "C:\folder\path\to\Containers at FTN Developer.xlsm" "C:\Users\username\Desktop\Containers at FTN Developer Copy.xlsm"
and save in a folder as "Copy Workbook.bat", e.g. "C:\folder\Copy Workbook.bat".
Then create a basic task in Windows Task Scheduler which runs "C:\folder\Copy Workbook.bat" at 10pm every day.
Hello John, Thanks for the quick reply - I am sorry but I have never used the windows notepad, or the task scheduler, before. Any way you can provide a few more instructions? Here is the location of the current file -
X:\SEA Shares\warehouse\container dock doors and is named INBOUND CONTAINER REPORT NEW FORM. and my user desktop name is 400243
Re: USD$30 - auto generated email with specific fields, outlook 2010
Hello John, Thank you - the file would not be open, the 2nd open would be better for us. I would like it to save at 10pm. And it can be named "Containers at FTN Developer Copy"
Re: USD$30 - auto generated email with specific fields, outlook 2010
Hello John, Is it easily doable to have the spreadsheet save a copy to my desktop at a certain time everyday, and overwrite the previous days save? I will open a new request if needed. Please let me know.
Re: USD$30 - auto generated email with specific fields, outlook 2010
