  • Multiple Sum Condition

    Hi,


    I am trying to sum based on a set of conditions including time. The formula works fine except when time is between 11.30 pm to 12.00 am.I have attached the sample which will make the scenario clear. I am not sure how to modify the formula to ensure it works when the time is between 11.30 pm to 12.00 am. Appreciate help.

    I finally tried the following:


    I opened the file which I could not view. Then , I opened another file which I could view and when to Windows menu and arrange by vertical. Then , I was able to view the file. I immediately maximized the file and saved it. When I re opened the file, I was able to view it. I am not sure what happened in the first place.

    I am not sure why but when I opened a particular file, the file hides somewhere in Excel. I am unable to view the file but when I try to open the same file again, Excel prompts that the file is already open but I can't see the file.This is an important file at work and I am not sure how to actually get to view the file. I tried copy and pasting the file in another location and then trying to open in Excel. However, the same thing happened.There is no error message.The file is opened but I am unable to view, as it seems to hide from view.Is there a solution? Thanks

    I am new to Pivot Chart and I definitely need to keep on practicing. I was able to generate the chart with Wizard but it did not generate the exact formay as given by Ranger.I plan to get a book and keep on practicing.

    1)You are correct. I am sorry. DS 2 times and WU 0 times in this example.
    2) The formula should only show results if there is an error points. If there is 0 points, then the formula should not show any results.

    Thank you for your reply. My apologies. I forget to mention about another criteria.There is an addition column with an error points (if any) for the particular work item#. I need the formula to incorporate to arrive at the results only if there is an error points. The minimum error point is 0.25. Example is as below:


    Work Item#
    1234567
    1234568
    1234567


    DS/WU
    DS
    WU
    DS


    Error Points
    0.25
    0
    1


    For the above example, the result should be Work Item# 1234567, duplication is 2 times, DS/WU is DS 1 time, WU 1 time. All criteria is same as previous post but the formula should only populate the values if there is an error point assigned to that work item#.

    I have a long list of work items based on a 7 digit number. The work item is referenced by a code named DS or WU.Example as below and the work item# has duplication throughout the list.(work item # repeated)


    Work Item DS/WU
    1234567 DS
    1234568 WU
    1234569 DS
    1234562 DS
    1234567 WU


    I need to create a formula that counts how many duplications of work items, by the number of DS or WU. Based on the above example, the formula should arrive at the results below


    Work Item #of Duplication DS WU
    1234567 2 1 1



    I would really appreciate some help on this as I tried and could not arrive at the correct formula. Thanks for the time and support.

    I have a long list of work items that is referenced by a unique 7 digit number. I need to create a formula to identify the specific work items that is being duplicated in the list and generate that number. Example is as follows

    Based on the above list, I need to create a formula that generates all work items that is being duplicated.In the example above, the formula should generate the following work items:

    I am new to Pivot Charts/Table. I am trying to create a Pivot Chart. My data consist of staff whom had errors in their work done. The data has a time when the work was completed by the staff. I would like to generate a Pivot Chart that has a line chart that shows when the work was completed based on the time and can be sorted easily by team, date, staff ,shift and errors.I know the easiest way is by Pivot Chart. I am not sure how to accomplish this as I had tried with the Pivot Chart and it did not work. Appreciate some help.

    I am trying to sort a long range of text that is placed horizontally in a spreadsheet. I can do it vertically with the sort function in Excel but it does not seem to work for text that is placed horizontally. Example is as below:

    Inventory Accounts Human Resources


    Is there a way to perform this ? Thanks.
