    My apoligizes I dont think I gave enough information. But you did help me out. I realized what I did with the code isnt really what I need at all. What I want to do is put todays date vale in cell S1. I think the code might have just formatted. I just spent some time playing with date formulas with no luck, I have never used these functios before. So my new question is, should I keep messing with the code or go for the formula? :?

    This works but when I go to use the date for other calculation or to show in other cells I get "1/0/1900 0:00"

    Easy solution, thanks. Now I know the column filter has been done before somehow using the validation feature, if anyone knows I would appreciate it, although I am no longer in a rush for it.

    That is actually how the data originally stored, the "boss man" had me transpose it for printing purposes. I would perfer it the other way, easier to manage. Since of course I "the little man" do all the printing I am trying to make my life easier.

    So I would like to filter by column


    abc inc A B C D
    -----------------------
    info line - 0 0 0 0
    info line - 0 0 0 0
    info line - 0 0 0 0
    -----------------------
    totals - # # # #


    Where I would filter to A and B,C,D would hide.
    Once before somehow I used the Validation feature to this but that was years ago. Dont know if that will help.

    I am trying to enter data from a 60 minute clock with data such as 2.15.
    2= 2 Hours
    .15= 15 minutes
    I need this data as a 100 minute clock
    2= 2 Hours
    .25= 15 minutes


    If The data is entered as 2.15 then it is incorrect as excel is set at 100.
    So my question is how do I change it to except it in a 60 format?
