I have a chart in excell that updates as a series of outputs (to which the graph is referenced) changes. These output will continue to change to show a steady progression from one scenario to another as my macro runs.
I would like to record the process of this graph to show it in a Powerpoint presentation. Does excell have a function that can record the movements of a graph. I'm totally lost on this subject.

Sorry guys, I'm a Access virgin, so this might sound stupid
I'm working on a query with the expression builder and want to build a expression based on a column/variable.
What I want Access to return is the absolute value in the column. Therefore if the original entry is negative, a possitive value should show in my query

I have a dynamic array {Output()}, that may have any number of elements.
What I what is VBA code that will return the 99th percentile of my array.
That is: 95% of the numbers in the array fall below this - eg: If you have 100 numbers this will be the fifth biggest or for 20 numbers it would be the second biggest of my array.
I can do this by writing the whole array to a spreadsheet and using the "=percentile(array,0.95)" function but this takes up alot of time because it has to be done alot of times. :rambo:
Many there is a similar comMand in VBA??

I want a function that will look at a column of numbers and return the 99th or 95th percentile. Is there a excel function that does this.
I need to program this funtion in VBA and use it as a formula on the spreadsheet aswell???

I'm working with a program that has a large amount of User-defined data types. Is there any way that I can monitor there values like monitoring other variables in the Locals window.

No. I tried the excel formulas you gave me, but
I have no idea how it works in Visual Basic??
What I basically what to know: What code do you use when you want to set the reference for an existing pivot table inside a Macro.

This works when I enter the formula, but the reference changes to a static reference and removes the offset function (therefore it does not update when I run my procedure). Isn't there a way I can access the pivot table in my macro and just change the reference as my macro runs??
HI all
I have a procedure that generates a output table of varying height (width is fixed). Then I have a Pivot table on another sheet that references toward this output table.
When I run my procedure, I want my pivot table format to stay exactly the same but reference to my new output (which height can be longer or shorter than the previous output). Is this possible?? :yikes:
Manually I do it by: Right click - Pivot Table Wizard - Back, and then just edit the coordinates. I would like this procedure to be automated in my macro.

One more question
The data validation reference to my column of unique values will include alot of blank values because I don't know how long my unique list will be. Is there any way to make the validation reference dynamic so that it shows no blanks.

Think I'll create a list on the same worksheet containing the unique values, hide it and them just reference it from the validation box.
My problem is still, how do I loop through a column and only extract a list of unique values (with no repititions)

This seems like a difficult one, way above me.
What I want is a data validation list in a cell on one worksheet. The list should include all the unique values from a range in another worksheet (There will be more that one similar value in the range and but I don't want them to repeat in my list).
Is this possible!!??
