Hi Mumps!!
I need your help urgently. I am looking out for vba coding wherein I have few workbooks & want to move the data from the different workbooks into one master file and need to select whole folder at once and data should be pasted without overlapping each other.
Thanks in advance

Please start a new thread with you request. Explain in detail what you want to do referring to specific ranges, rows, columns and sheet using a few examples from your data. Also, post a copy of one of your source workbooks and a copy of your Master file (de-sensitized if necessary). If you send me a private message with a link to your thread, I'll have a look at it.

Hi Mumps! Do you remember this thread: Copy row to another worksheet depending on drop down list choice. ? Tracy mentioned that code which can copy rows with not just 1 but 2 drop-down list option doesn’t work. Do you have a solution for that problem? I’d really glad if you could help!

I would suggest that you start a new thread. Include a detailed explanation of what you want to do and attached a copy of your file.

Hi Mumps It's me again, I am asking for some help in the Macro you help me some days ago, I wrote a thread call "Compare cells in a Macro", if you can help me I appreciate it.

Mumps. My macro is making my brain melt, and I just know you're my savior to help me understand what my problem is. This is the second website I've made an account on today to try to follow your VBA logic but alas, I'm still struggling. If you could help out, I'd be ecstatic:
I have spent 10 hours trying and trying my hand at this code. It seems like a repetitive question after scouring the web yet any code I came across gave me some kind of issue, even with hours of tinkering. That being said - SOS
>I have hundreds of workbooks in a folder on my X drive
>They all only have one worksheet, titled "Incident Report"
>They have a various number of lines, all typically maxing out at line 10,027.
>Each workbooks' data starts at line A28.
>Each column has data to column AA (last column with data. Column AB and onwards is empty)
I just want to copy all of this data into my original open sheet (Sheet1) without any line gaps in the data.
As an aside, these files all downloaded as as an Excel HTTP Page? So every time you try to open one of the files, you get the error that I have attached below. But if you click "Yes", it opens as expected. Is that an underlying issue?-
Please start a new thread explaining in detail what you want to do. Attach a copy of the file where you want to paste the data and a copy of at least one of the "downloaded" files. Also, include the full path to the folder containing the files from which you want to copy data. When you have done this, send me a private message with a link to your thread and I will be happy to have a look at it.

I forgot to mention that most forums have a rule about cross-posting on multiple sites. If you have posted on more than one site, you must include a link to all the other threads on every posting.

Hi Mumps, I wrote to you in my post Run a Macro inside another Macro, I am asking for some help

Hi Mumps, I hope you are doing well.
I am having an issue with excel2016, I worked with VBA fine yesterday. Now today, I am unable to view the VBA window. It opens but stays behind , I am unable to edit. This happens for all workbooks I have with codes. Can you say what the issue may be and how I can easily solve it?

Without seeing your workbook it's hard to say why that is happening. Could I suggest that you start a new thread describing the problem and post a copy of the file.

Hi Mumps! Any way you could give me a hand trying to figure out what I am doing wrong in a macro? I'm trying to figure out 3 sig figs and have it right for the most part, there is one small part I'm missing and can't seem to figure it out.
